The history of Ellende can be traced back to around 1976, to some teenage tape experiments.
In 1990 the name
Ellende was used and as a “band” the duo, now a five member formation, turned an old pool house into a studio: The Plantation. Here sounds were collected from unanimous collaborators and the mixed with mainly old analogue synths and other obscure electronic equipment.
